Recognition Year(s): 2025
School: TBS Education
Location: France

The Mixed Reality Design Sprint is an innovative multidisciplinary integration that blends research, education, and real-world business challenges into a cohesive framework. By leveraging emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and mixed reality, it enhances creativity and problem-solving while also focusing on intrapreneurship as a tool for organizational innovation. The project fosters a collaborative ecosystem among educators, researchers, tech industry professionals, and students, as well as strengthens ties with partners. Pedagogically, it introduces new methods supported by AI that emphasize rapid, iterative problem-solving.

Call to Action

The Mixed Reality Design Sprint project was driven by the need to bridge research, education, and real-world business challenges in a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach. Through the school’s partnership with Airbus, the project addresses societal challenges—such as the use of mixed reality—through the lens of intrapreneurship and its tools.

The project’s key motivation was to enhance student learning by integrating cutting-edge technologies, like generative AI (ChatGPT), and hands-on experience with innovative management methodologies, such as the Google Ventures Design Sprint. It aimed to develop students’ skills in intrapreneurship, creativity, and critical thinking while addressing the strategic needs of an industrial partner.

It fosters a research-teaching-business loop, engaging researchers, tech industry professionals, and students to create a collaborative learning environment. This reflective approach empowers students to understand and apply intrapreneurial concepts to solve complex, real-world problems.

The project also aligns with TBS Education’s goal of preparing future managers to navigate a rapidly changing technological landscape. Ultimately, it strives to create cultural transformation and promote innovation management in organizations, which helps students leverage technology for societal impact while strengthening institutional ties with the tech industry.
